Jerry Bruckheimer Filmstangle, also known as JB Filmstangle or simply JBFtangle, born name Don Simpson/Jerry Bruckheimer Filmstangle is an American movie companytangle, which known for his scary logo (The Oregon Tree since 1997). Also, Jerry Bruckheimer Filmstangle is known for his movies, among which: Beverly Hills Cop, Top Gun, Bad Boys, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Rock, Pearl Harbor, Armageddon and Con Air.

Jerry Bruckheimer Filmstangle was founded in 1983 after the release of Flashdance, the first collaboration of the producers Don Simpson and Jerry Bruckheimer, and initially the studio was also named after Don Simpson. But in 1996 Don Simpson was died and in 1997 his name was dropped from the studio's name. The Rock became the last movie, co-produced by Don Simpson and Jerry Bruckheimer, and was released after Don Simpson's death and received a dedication to his memory.

Trivia

  • The Jerry Bruckheimer Films logo got its nickname The Oregon Tree because the tree on the logo is a real tree located a mile outside of Plush, Oregon. On November 11, 2007 a real Jerry Bruckheimer's tree was captured on video.
